Consisting of a single crystal element and a set of electrodes that are plated to the surface, Monolithic Crystal Filter are used for a multitude of radio frequency applications such as high performance radio receivers. The major advantage of using monolithic filters over conventional filters is the unmatched value for performance they offer. Furthermore, the component is compact and thus can be used for various electronic equipment that require downsizing. The filter is of two different types including through hole and SMD.
